This is a special Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur) tour  with emphasis on Indian food and Indian cooking. It’s meant for tourists who want  a detailed introduction to Indian cuisine during their tour.  It covers the best of north and western Indian cuisines without compromising on the must see sights in any way. The culinary activities like food tours, cooking classes, kitchen tours, restaurant visits etc. are led by a qualified chef for maximum attention to detail.

DAY 1: Delhi Delights
First day in Delhi will begin with a visit to  iconic Delhi landmarks, Lotus Temple, a beautiful Baha’i house of worship built in 1986 and Qutub Minar, a 72 m tall tower built in 1193 and still standing tall. Noon will be the time to begin the food tour of Delhi from Old Delhi. This tour will serve as a great introduction to Indian food and culture and will help set the tone for rest of your trip to India. There will be approximately 16-18 different Indian food dishes from different Indian cuisines and you’ll visit  up to 10 different food joints in Old Delhi, Central and South Delhi. All of the food joints that you’ll visit have been in business for generations and are famous for their quality of food. The oldest place in the list is in business for 110 years and youngest for 40. You’ll sample delicacies like samosa, lassi, butter chicken, kulfi (Indian ice creams), melt in m0uth kebabs and much more. As Indian food gains popularity all over the world, more and more people want to explore Indian cuisine in more detail.  A lot of tourists want to participate in activities like food tours, cooking classes, kitchen tours, introduction to spices, tea tasting, wine tatsing and so on. Although we are already operating such activities in a few cities across India for quite some time with great response, the tours of India with a chef are meant for discerning travelers who want to learn more about Indian food than what’s possible in a day. Such culinary tours have one ore more chefs and culinary experts as the tour leaders and are designed to include the best of sightseeing, activities and Indian food in the most enjoyable way.

All the culinary activities which include food tours, cooking classes and demos, kitchen tours and major meals are done under the expert supervision of a chef for maximum attention to detail. Right now, we are offering Tours With A Chef 1-3 times a year with destinations like Delhi, Rajasthan and Agra and are in process of including some  other destinations like Kerala, Goa, Mumbai and Tamilnadu. The group size of these culinary tours is be between 10 to 15.

Day 1- Delhi Delight

After a friendly airport pickup, head on to the hotel for a rest before starting your city tour with visit to Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and going on the exciting Food Tour of Delhi in the afternoon. Enjoy authentic Indian cuisine from various famous food spots at the charming Old Delhi, Chandani Chowk, Connaught Place, Chawari Bazar with lunch and dinner during the Food Tour.

Day 2- Sightseeing Delhi

After breakfast, set off by local transport to more great sights around Delhi such as the India Gate, Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb. For more local delights, try the optional cooking class to pick up a couple of Indian cooking techniques and recipes from experienced local chefs.
