    Delhi ( Deaprture: 8:00 am - 8:30am )
Your experience with India Food Tour begins with a comfortable airport pickup, followed by a transfer to the chef’s home in Delhi. On arrival, you’ll have time to relax, freshen up, and feel at home before the cooking class begins. The session starts with the preparation of authentic masala chai (Indian spiced tea), paired with freshly made, hot and crispy pakoras, a classic Indian snack best enjoyed straight from the pan. While you sip your chai, the chef will introduce you to Indian cuisine, its spices, regional influences, and what you can expect from this hands-on Indian cooking class in Delhi. Once the introductions are complete, it’s time to put on your apron and start cooking. Under the guidance of an experienced local chef, you’ll learn to prepare a complete traditional Indian meal. The menu includes dishes such as fragrant pulao, comforting dal (lentils), seasonal vegetable curries, eggplant dishes, cooling raita, freshly made rotis (Indian flatbreads), and stuffed parathas cooked on a traditional griddle. For dessert, you’ll prepare a delicious Indian halwa, a sweet that is enjoyed across North India. Guests who wish to explore non-vegetarian options can also learn popular dishes like butter chicken, chicken tikka, or mutton curry, making this a truly customizable Delhi food experience. The cooking class concludes with a relaxed sit-down meal where you enjoy all the dishes you’ve cooked together. As a special takeaway, every participant receives a small spice gift hamper, featuring essential spices commonly used in a North Indian kitchen—a perfect souvenir from your India Food Tour. After the cooking experience, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some of Delhi’s most iconic landmarks, including India Gate, Rajpath, and the President’s House. This area is a favorite picnic spot for local families and becomes especially picturesque after sunset, offering a perfect end to your cultural and culinary tour of Delhi.
